Eyelid Care Just like your lashes need to be cared for, so does your eyelids! Taking off lashes can sometimes be painful and scary. The best way to prevent pain while taking lashes off is to soak a Q-tip or cotton swab and gently rub it across the lash band to soften the adhesive and make it much easier to remove. Sometimes all we do it take off our lashes and call it a night, but it is always best to take off all your makeup. Eyelids can be very sensitive and when we wear lashes, often times there is excess lash glue. Taking off excess lash glue can be very helpful and feel a lot better the next day. Wearing makeup often sometimes comes with dry skin, remember to moisturize when you can and don't forget your eyelids!

CairoBeauty Lash Care To lengthen the life of your lashes, they need to be taken care of. CairoBeauty lashes are sturdy yet flexible, if you take care of them properly, they can last for months! When taking off excess lash glue off the lash band, don't just rip it off no matter how tempting it can be. Soak a Q-tip or cotton swab in a good quality makeup remover and gently rub it across the lash band to soften the adhesive and gently remove it. Often times we find excess makeup or dust in between the individual lashes, instead of pulling on it which will harm the lash, use a mascara wand to gently brush it out! As often as possible, if you're not wearing the lashes, keep them in the box to ensure they don't get damaged.

Lip Care Despite our best moisturizing efforts, sometimes lips defeat us. Here are some tips so you can reach your full lip potential! The one thing a lot of us forget to do is exfoliate! Remove dead skin flakes by using a lip scrub. Try not to pick at your lips as it may cause you to bleed. It is best to exfoliate at least once a week. Use a lip balm- our lips tend to get chapped easily because unlike the rest of our skin, the lips do not contain oil glands. To best moisturize, use a lip balm and drink more water! Try not to lick your lips as that dries out our lips as well. Remember to reapply your lip balm often especially after eating or drinking. Some suggest to reapply every two hours!

Applying Lipstick Lips are one of the most sensitive parts of our face! CairoBeauty lipstick is cruelty free, soft, and light! Before applying the lipstick, you have to make sure your lips are ready! One of the main reasons that lipstick may look uneven, patchy, or flaky is because first (1) you need to exfoliate with a lip scrub and moisturize with a lip balm, some suggest letting the lip balm set in for a while before applying lipstick. (2) Color correct if needed. (3) CairoBeauty does not sell lip liner yet but the best way to get a more precise and poppin look is to line the sides of your lips and then apply the lipstick starting from the center and work your way outwards! Applying Lashes Your eyelids need to be treated right with soft, comfortable eyelash bands! Using CairoBeauty lashes all you need now is some tips! The best way to apply lashes is to first (1) Measure your lashes and cut off the ends to fit your unique eye shape. (2) Apply lash glue along the band and gently blow for 10 seconds to make it sticky. (3) Start applying the lash from the outer corner of your eye to help prevent the other side of the lash from poking the inner corner of your eye. (4) Keep your eyes looking down until glue dries to prevent the glue from getting on your eyelid. (5) Take some glamorous pictures because you look amazing!
